Anyone regardless of his/her social or political status blaming what happened last time in Malakal on SPLM-DC should have his head medically checked, because I was there, knew what happened and who really is to be blamed.SPLM must learn to keep his lips in check politically. Its lethal for a statesman to say foolish things than to do them.
If only SPLM understands this message and really put the Country's Greater Good first and target the high purpose for the public in order to reach effectiveness, efficiency and success in the Public Administration
SPLM_DC are lies they never say yes I think they are a part of NCP who always denied killing people in Abye SPLM.DC is only belong to Shilluk tribe other tribe should pull out from that so call DC the attack in Malakal was from them but Lam denied that he will never eccept what he done
Some Southern Sudanese who have little or no understanding of political issues and the complexity of decision making, have taken to the internet to express that Dr. Lam Akol is a traitor. Some even accused him of being an agent of the NCP and resisting separation or self-government. Of-course it is very clear and evidence that many of these accusers have no understanding of democracy. These are people who will vote a person into power not based on his ability to reason, but on tribal basis.
I encouraged my fellow Southern Sudanese to research and informed themselves about Southern Sudan’s issues and how well the Politicians are placed to respond to the immense challenges of today. Corrupt acts that continue to take away money from substantial development activities for our people, tribal divides and most importantly insecurity (the threat of death and the like) for people who may not agreed with the ruling government cannot be allowed to continue if Southern Sudan is going to survive. Come on fellow Sudanese, wake up to democracy and be well informed before casting your vote this April.

Part 3
Leadership
On June 10th 2009, the SPLM declared that Dr. Lam Akol was free to form a political party because the new Southern Sudan was a democracy free and fair for all. The SPLM Secretary General was quoted as saying that “It’s the democratic right of Dr. Lam Akol and the group to form a new party and present themselves to the Sudanese people who would choose their leaders and the party which they want to lead them”. Today, we know that the SPLM has not kept true to the promised of the democratic rights that they afforded Dr. Lam and every Sudanese in this new era of democratic change.
I need not remind you of the devastating blow that the SPLM has shown towards democracy. Far beyond perpetuating poverty and abolishing the extreme corrupt behaviors of its leaderships, we are aware of the attempts to instilled fear into Southern Sudanese citizens in Malakal and Yei. We are also aware of the wanton killings which have left many people including myself wondering about whether we are ready for self-government.
The SPLM-DC may be a new party that is yet to gain prominence on the world stage but we have no doubt of Dr Lam Akol’s leadership and strong urge for democracy. As this election draws near we have observed how the tremendous leadership ability Dr. Akol has aroused the democratic spirit of the Sudanese people and present the party as an element of change that necessary for us at this time.
Once a critic myself, I have come to believe in the leadership and guidance of Dr. Akol because of relentless urge for a peaceful and free Sudan where all Sudanese can be happy again. I had once criticized the SPLM-DC for pointing fingers when it needed to win the trust of the Sudanese people. Today, I have seen the party transformed to become the party of the Sudanese people under the leadership of Dr. Akol. Persistence efforts are being made towards ensuring democratic changes that are congruent and acceptable with democratic values.
More and more we have seen the SPLM-DC exemplifying democratic change through its leadership. The party current political practices and cultures of inclusiveness in its decision making processes are in conformity with democracy and are notable of democratic values. Democracy is about the people that are being governed and Dr. Akol continues to show this practice through the SPLM-DC. Electing him this election will help place our destiny in our own hands as we endeavor make Southern Sudan a country where all people are truly equal.
Yasir Arman Will Lose April Election for South to Secede Come 2011
March 19, 2010
BY Deng T. Liem
It appears that, Mr. Yasir Arman’s presidential contest against President Oman Al-Bashir brought absolute enthusiasms among southerners who have been misled by opportunists kin to support his candidacy. As matter of facts, President Yasir Arman, if elected, within those eight months, he will serve as Sudan interim president, he will try to bring developments we might need in south. He will try harder to build sophisticate hospitals, schools and abundant roads and to make healthcare available to all southerners is among others, in order to make unity attractive to southerners. He will also put together an equal representation GoNU and gives south some key important government ministries posts such as mining and economic, finance and etc. He will do whatever he could in his disposal to allure us beyond reasonable doubt to vote for unity in 2011.
If our solemn choice is for unity of Sudan over separation of south, therefore, Mr. Yasir Arman is our sincere candidate in this election. Have saying that, if our merit choice is for separation of south from the rest of country, Mr. Yasir Arman is the worst candidate for us due to fact that, he will make unity attractive and for the same reason, he will make it difficult for south to secede come January 2011 referendum. For south to vote for Mr. Yasir Arman in April elections will be completed direct vote for unity of Sudan even yet the referendum is held.
The second most importantly issue is that, Mr. Yasir Arman has no base in north, but his base hail from south. This issue will make him hesitate not to let south to secede freely because he would remain with empty hands in north where he will doom to voluntarily vacate his presidency to just follow us in south. For this solid reason, however, Mr. Yasir Arman will not allow himself to make that forlorn decision against his political carrier to let south to secede on his present.
Let us not forget that SPLM/A was initially fought for principle of genuine New Sudan that was initially brought Mr. Yasir Arman and other comrades from north to join SPLM/A. If SPLM under leadership of Mr. Yasir Arman becomes Sudan’s ruling party in May of 2010. Why do we think that Mr. Yasir Arman would let south to secede while SPLM has achieved its compelling principle of New Sudan? One could not be nuclear scientist to know this fact. I don’t believe that southerners are harebrained enough not to realize these irretrievable barriers in advances, which will dilapidated our path to secede from the rest of country in 2011. Mr. Yasir Arman’s presidency is one of the most malignant obstacles against south’s secession and the misled kin must need to retrieve their happiness brought to them by Mr. Yasir Arman’s presidential contest and they first should weight advantages against disadvantages of his presidency, if elected, before they make it a great deal.
Those misled kin are diehard separatists who will insist to fight another war of separation after Mr. Yasir Arman has totally doomed referendum, if elected president, which I doubt, will happen. I vehemently need to inform this group of south voters to understand these above important constraints which would subdue our chance to secede before they prematurely decide to vote against our own political believe of separation. If south would breach against failed referendum results and declared UDI for south after SPLM President, Mr. Yasir Arman was letting referendum go rampant in his favorite. When in fact, majority of south have voted for unity of Sudan instead of separation of south that we hope for, as Mr. Yasir Arman would have attracted our votes for unity by attempted to build sophisticate hospitals, schools and roads while brought economic prosperity, full decentralizations and equal redistributions of wealth among all Sudanese citizens, plus all those key important ministries he must rendered to south in his government.
Let us make no mistake, the south will suffering beyond previously hardships we had endured in the past because our neighbor countries and allies in this war against Khartoum will not take our case very serious like they used to be. With this in mind, we will need highest 21st century technological war weapons and ammunitions to fight that waging war. I doubt south to wage wrong war against north with those 20 century weapons and ammunitions. I hope that, the south will vote to avoid dreadful barriers will ruin our path to secede.
We are one that strives for upcoming April elections to take place. The GoNU of Mr. Yasir Arman, if elected president, would be SPLM led government. Is that not another malicious obstacle against south’s secession? I believe it is, since SPLM will maliciously fight against itself between north and south sectors that will lead to real physical war, if God Mr. Yasir Arman would success to fail referendum by allure south to vote for unity of country. Our separation from north should become piece cake only if President Oman Al-Bashir or real southerner elected Sudan Interim president.
I believe that it is the best interest for south to vote for President Oman Al-Bashir in this election, not because he is the best President for us, but because he was one who had signed CPA with south. If he will act to disown his own signatory, however, it will make it easy for south to declare UDI for south against his regime and the whole world will rally behind south as they would have known that, President Al-Bashir has breached his own signature on CPA document. In my humble understanding, I believe that, it is the best interest of south to fight open known enemy that is known to whole world than to fight unknown enemy that will confuse world community and our allies in this war against north in Khartoum.
That known enemy is President Oman Al-Bashir and his NCP, but Mr. Yasir Arman of SPLM will be unknown enemy and breaching against his regime will take time for the world to understand implications of his guilt. I know for sure that, Mr. Yasir Arman will not let us to secede freely like previous Sudanese presidents and President Oman Al-Bashir is including in that fool. However, Mr. Yasir Arman will make it difficult for south to secede for these fundamental reasons I listed below.
1. He has no base in north to govern without south, 2. He would not let his base to secede to taint his political carrier and north, 3. He will keep his base by making unity attractive to south and votes for unity, and 4. He must abnegate his known secularism mentality and joins his nuclear Arab people in north to declare wrecking war against south and charges south for disowning it owns SPLM’s compelling principle of New Sudan in place.
The beliefs that, Mr. Yasir Arman will let south to secede in a peaceful manner is fallacious beliefs of schists and diffident leaders of SPLM who have lost faiths with one another and failed to nominate one of their own in order to avoid tribal conflicts. As one SPLM leader was claimed to run for both SPLM’s presidential tickets of GoSS and GoNU, but failed to win that controversial argument. The moderate bigotry (Yasir Arman) will return into dreadful bigotry like his likes when his dream of becoming president comes to reality. The south will face enormous ramifications as result of Mr. Yasir Arman’s presidency, if elected and indeed war broke out between his regime and south separatists. I exhort south voters to vote with merit conscious to keep embattled President Oman Al-Bashir in office for these three significant reasons below.
1. President Oman Al-Bashir will not make unity attractive, whatsoever; therefore, south will overwhelmingly vote to secede in 2011, 2. He has vigorously agreed with his nuclear Islamic fundamentalists’ society and endorsed religion state of Sudan that would be governed by “Sharia Laws” opposed to secular New Sudan of SPLM and therefore, President Oman Al-Bashir is now a sought separatist, and 3. He is a partner in CPA and any attempted breach against referendum provision would be grave mistaken as it would be taken very seriously by international community and CPA peace brokers.
For the sake of south to become Independence State, we need separatist like President Oman Al-Bashir to win and unionist Mr. Yasir Arman to lose April election to pave away for south to secede come January 2011 referendum. For Almighty God’s willingness any infamous politic plays to boost hopes for unity amongst southerners will gruesomely doom to fail and the essential hopes for genuinely Independence south will definitely prevail. Henceforth, the United Independence South governing by rule of laws, great dignity and humane, brother and sister hoods, will eventually comes to exist.

PART 2
A Call To Action
In Malakal it has been reported that campaign posters have been torn down by the SPLM in a wake to incite fear into the population. It is our hope that the people of Malakal, our brothers and sisters and children in that city will stand steadfast and resolved their faith in democracy. Let them be unmovable and stand their grounds knowing that one day, all this fear mongering will be over. Let them keep in mind that the democratic way is the way of the people. Let them show their resolved to the rest of the people in Southern Sudan that it is only going to be a little while when the way of the people will prevail over violence, destructions and cowardice. As Malakal stand up, we must stand with them as well. We must unite with our minds, strengths, efforts and most of all spirits to show our support and stand up for democracy. In Southern Sudan just like in every place where democracy has prevailed, the way of the people must triumph in this coming election. For a people that have seen and experienced too many destruction, we need not simply sit back and allow violence to triumphs in our midst again.
Five years after the comprehensive peace agreement, we want to tell our children that the way of the ballot is the only way to peace. In light of these facts, I urge you to hold fast to your ballots and vote this coming election. Show the “destructionists” where true power lies. Tell them with your vote that real power lies in you, the people, and with this power you can decide who becomes a major player on our political scene.
Tell our brothers and sisters in Yei that their recent demonstration will not go in vain by your votes. We understand that all of Southern Sudanese want separation at this time. We understand that whenever we reflect on the past, we cannot think anything but wish for a homeland where we do not envision ourselves as second-class citizens. However, it is also important that we assess the governing ability of our current leaders as we dive towards self-government. I am of the view that self-government is a critical issue that needs to be understood. As we ready ourselves for a vote in this coming election, we should first consider candidates that are most concern about abolishing the tribal conflicts and wanton killings have become so common in Southern Sudan. I am of the view that Dr. Lam Akol whose vocal criticisms on these issues stands as the only lonely voice in the dessert, needs to consider very seriously, when we cast our vote during this coming election.

SPLM-DC
Fabricating Excuses of SPLM for paving it Way to an Endless Ruling, Schisms and Corruptions
February 18, 2010
By Deng T. Liem
Per Sudan general election campaign has begun on February 13, 2010 the SPLM minority cliques throughout the globe are disseminating fabricating excuses and toothless threats for trying to galvanize vast supporting among people of south irrespective of political affiliation to vote for SPLM presidential Candidate Salva Kir. By describing him as sorrow incompetent leader who failed to rule the south for the last five years, but with no choices to leave with, the people of south must take deep breaths and forgive his dreadful incompetence and rally behind him as we are yet reaching our final destination. This above statement is what I call fabricating excuses on one hand and should Dr. Lam secures enough to campaign in the south on other hand is what I call toothless threats. As they are baselessly accusing SPLM-DC as NCP agent and anti-independence south in which none of these fabricating allegations is materialized as one of the SPLM-DC business.
Therefore, Dr. Lam Akol SPLM-DC Chairman and GoSS hopeful presidential candidate who is articulated competent leader and trusting son of south to lead the south to it final destination must need to step down from contesting GoSS presidency post against Lt. Gen Salva Kir. Arguing that, Dr. Lam Akol candidacy will divide the south to its worst standard without hesitation. And that division will diminish our chances to win CPA of (2005) against the north. This proving that, the SPLM minority cliques are using fabricating excuses for paving it way to an endless ruling, schisms and corruptions in the south.
The fundamental question is why would the Candidacy of Dr. Lam Akol who has never involved in all these unprecedentedly ill-corruptions, schisms and widespread insecurities in the south Sudan and forefront in a fight for rights to self-determination for people of South Sudan will divide the south and not controversial President Salva Kir candidacy? That surely will add enough devastations to south’s current fathomless occurrences, the people of south have been experiencing from President Salva Kir’s hoax leadership for the last five years. While, the people of south Sudan are daring to install fresh administration free from undemocratic ruling and corruptions come May of 2010 to rebuild trusts and respects among ourselves to make future pending vital reconciliations functional once again.
In the whole world, democracy is about equal representations, free speeches and freedom of expressions to ease affirmative national debates to find compelling common grounds for citizens to govern themselves in good manners. The dark side of these fabricating excuses and accusations by the SPLM minority cliques which may obligate the people of south Sudan to vote for sole presidential candidate on ballot are gross violations of the democratic practices in the south. It will be unprecedented for the people of south Sudan to go to the polls in April Elections voting for solely presidential candidate on ballot. For us to be proud of our new democratic way of life in the south is whenever we have to go to the polls to vote, we have to vote for more than one candidate on ballot for sole position. That would be the pure democratic system we need in our young south Sudan nation.
Undermining democratic transformation in south Sudan must be aggregately mistaken the south has never committed. Voting for only one candidate on ballot is not democracy, but monarchy system that is only embracing by authoritarian leaderships somewhere in the world; however, the South cannot opt to adopt such undemocratic practices since we fought to have democratic system for quiet long time. The idea of solely candidacy that SPLM minority cliques are seriously pushed to work is opting only for monarchy practices that contrary to merit objectives the SPLM had fought about for more than two decades in the bush.
The following paragraphs are forging reasons, why I think SPLM minority cliques are widely disseminating fabricating excuses and accusations to obligate the people of south to vote only for sole GoSS presidential candidate on ballot come April election.
First, the main reason for fabricating excuses lead to above question is that the SPLM loses supporting among people of south Sudan currently on the grounds due to fathomless corruptions, widespread insecurities throughout semi-autonomous region and bitter schisms instigated by tribal practices. Secondly, the long-path of communism ideology allows SPLM minority cliques to resist pure, civilize, fair and balance appropriate public debates among indigenous people of south Sudan to find prestigious loopholes suit best for inclusive economy, security and retirements of bitter schisms in South Sudan. Thirdly, SPLM minority cliques prematurely use fabricating excuses as bedrock tactical to scaremonger southerners that multiple parties system and unequivocal democratic practices are odds with semi-autonomous government; nonetheless, these would ruin our chances for independence south Sudan and etc come 2011 referendum.
The above blatant misleading claims illustrating political obstacle SPLM minority cliques are facing at this crucial moment. They advocate fears among people of south for trying to dig out themselves in deepening holes, they dag themselves in for five year. While, it seemed that it is too late for them to survive these political malfunctioning upsetting entire population of the south with exception of few minority cliques who are disseminating fabricating excuses and lies among people of south Sudan. Adding to overall old-fashioned fabrication SPLM minority cliques are wrongly inflicted on coalition of South Political Alliances Parties and portrayed it to be agent of its osteoporosis National Congress Party (NCP). That the coalition was rightly disputed as political motivated fabrications against it due to fact that the coalition has never posed any political marriage with National Congress Party (NCP). In this case, it deemed necessary that the SPLM is sole impediment against peace and reconciliations among southerners whom aiming and worrying are for prevailing of self-determination referendum in 2011.
Hon. Yasir Saeed Arman is the first worst among these controversial minority cliques of SPLM unionists whom political aims are for Hon. Yasir Saeed Arman to win Sudan presidential election and find necessary loopholes to advocate the importance of united secular Sudan to the suffering people of south that is not longer the case for southerners at this moment. The current Internet Polls Survey conducted by sudantribune site started on Sunday February 14, 2010 shows the Independence south leads over unity with north 83.3% to 16.5% among 5314 participants. The polls will remain open throughout the week and we can see whatever changes may take places daily. The fair question is this, who is going to vote for Candidate Hon. Yasir Saeed Arman in northern Sudan? Based on appropriate perspective, this is another monstrous political blunder of the SPLM to nominate Hon. Yasir Saeed Arman as its presidential candidate compared to poor SPLM candidates selections that caused multiplicity of Independence candidates with in the SPLM.
According to the same sudantribune polls survey, the people of south are highly indicated that they will not waste time, money and energy to vote for Hon. Yasir Saeed Arman who his political aspiration contrary to theirs. The people of south are barely differentiating the different between Hon. Yasir Saeed Arman and embattled President Oman Al-Basher. Both men are Arabs bigotries and unionists. The mild different between the two men blackmailed the south public is fact that Hon. Yasir Saeed Arman was deprived by his political guilt in the north and joined the south liberation movement since SPLM/A was initially fought for the liberation of free and fair united Sudan, while, onslaught President Al-Basher and his likes were busy in Sudanese Capital slaughtered and looted the country natural resources to keep up with unprofessional work against marginalized Sudanese. Endured bush life along with Hon. Yasir Saeed Arman will not be the case for him after he gets elected president. This describing as wolf is walking in cheap clothing. The mild bigotry will return into dreadful bigotry like his likes when his dream becomes reality.
If SPLM SG Hon. Pagan Amum Okiech was being able to hire a firm and conducted the polls survey in south Sudan before Hon.Yasir Saeed Arman nomination was finalized by National Election Commission (NEC) and asked random sample, if they were aware of Hon. Yasir Saeed Arman and his likes were being SPLM/A commanders during liberation and only if they were aware of that fact. Ninety nine percents of that sample would response negatively to that polls question and absolutely said no, but fewer politicians among us would response positively to that. Hence, Hon. Yasir Saeed Arman nomination for SPLM presidential ticket would have been reconsidered.
With no doubts, the SPLM unity advocators have already missed their appropriately chances to rule New Sudan six months after April Elections due to fact that Hon. Yasir Saeed Arman will lose April 11, 2010 election. With no blaming, the people of South Sudan are definitely hesitating to vote for new SPLM Arab president who the West Peace Brokers will use as strong reason against south to secede after successful 2011 referendum. Since, the SPLM has a perpetual dream in its whole lifetime to create sole New Sudan where everything would be possible for all it citizens. I will not blame the people of south for their wise decision not to vote for Hon. Yasir Saeed Arman for two reasons. First, the West Peace Brokers will not differentiate the different between south and north SPLM political objectives, which will make it difficult for south to secede in 2011. Second, the people of south will stick with President Al-Bashir who had shown them altruism to sign CPA of (2005) with the south. That has given south six years interim period to rule herself and later vote to secede after 2011 referendum.
It’s worth saying that, the virtue majority of the SPLM-DC supporters and sympathizers are much more separatists than the SPLM minority cliques who are daily contradicting with factual facts engulfing the south interests. Therefore, the SPLM has been discovering under cover-up of misleading campaigning that contrary to fundamental rights and interests of the south.
There are disintegrators minority cliques of SPLM who have been continuously asking bogus question, why the SPLM-DC only run for GoSS presidency and not for national presidential ticket? The fundamental answer to this question is this, the SPLM-DC is placed to rescue south from inevitable extinction under cripple leadership of SPLM Chairman President Salva Kir. Hence, the SPLM-DC would waste no time to lead the whole Sudan when it is no longer the case for the people of the south. The worth acquiring tasks from genuine leader in the south is for him/her to work for the welfares of the south. The flips-flopping, bickering and status quo are not way forward to build helm south Sudan country, but firm listening to one another in utmost good faiths, cooperation and the rules of laws will do it for us.
Back to the topic in questions, for the SPLM to win handily in April Elections, it needs to avoid strong challengers contesting against it unpopular candidates, especially in the south and those strong challengers are appeared to be SPLM-DC and Independence Party (IP). The fears for SPLM to lose April elections have echoed since launching of SPLM-DC on June 6, 2009. The mysterious fears currently grow even stronger in the aftermath of the SPLM poor candidates selections that created popular Independence party (IP) contestants candidates against unpopular SPLM Candidates.
The SPLM SG Hon. Pagan Amum Okiech has conceded that there were serious irregularities occurred in nominations process for trying to calm down popular Independence candidates to step aside from contesting elections against their unpopular colleagues SPLM Candidates. That turned out not the case from popular Independence Candidates who vowed not to step down, instead they were asking for SG Hon. Pagan Amum Okiech to step down as SPLM SG for sake of party unity. The SG Hon. Pagan Amum has also accepted calls to resign, but demanded the Independence candidates to step aside before he would take that measure to step down as party Secretary General (SG) claimed party unity. The unbearable dispute still not resolved between SG Pagan Amum and Independence candidates. Eventually, the Political Bureau (PB), the highest office of SPLM has expelled Independence candidates from party memberships saying that they have dismissed themselves from the party by not complied with party nomination process. Therefore, emerging of SPLM-DC and fractures in SPLM ignited by poor candidatures selections process are driving it minority cliques even more crazies than ever.
The answer to previous statement above as was, should Dr. Lam must step down, absolutely no. The SPLM-DC Chairman Dr. Lam Akol and GoSS hopeful presidential candidate is not going to step down from contesting against Lt. Gen President Salva Kir because the south is in serious need for an urgency fresh leadership that will recuperate it from major extinction. The SPLM has failed to govern itself as party. How come it will enable to govern the whole south at that crucial moment when genuine need for sincerely leadership to lead us to final destination is overwhelming? President Salva Kir and his minority cliques have tried their capacities to govern the south, but horribly failed to manage the south affairs due to corrupt mentalities. Today, it is a high time for the people of south to vote in office competent leader like Dr. Lam Akol to govern our south affairs with self-discipline and integrity thereafter April election. Meanwhile, we will, however, vote out incompetent leaders like President Salva Kir and his likes who have miserably failed to govern and send them back to Gogrial and elsewhere they belong.
It would have been unwise decision from Hon. Dr. Lam Akol, if he would have been dragged out from contesting for GoSS presidency due to fabricating excuses and toothless threats mourning daily by SPLM minority cliques when the south is dying for need of superb leadership to rescue it from disarraying. Dr. Lam Akol is only stronger and brilliant leader has left to lead us after Late Hero Dr. John Garang De Mabior laid to rest in the aftermath of Helicopter crashed in July 2005 twenty one days after he became First Vice President of Sudan and president of semi-autonomous government of South Sudan (GoSS). Dr. Lam Akol has been proved by all Sudanese citizens as only southerner who would standstill north’s old bigotries whose political aspirations have been slaying the south to it last worst standard today. Dr. Lam Akol is well educated southerner likes Dr. John Garang and Dr. Riek Machar who had endured bush life to liberate south from north oppressors. With no doubts, Dr. Lam Akol will stand to take thoroughly negotiations on behalf of southerners to north oppressors and would not be just rhetoric as done by President Kir administration.
Based on Dr. Lam Akol phone interview with “Editor of SSN” published by (southsudannation website on February 14, 2010), Dr. Lam Akol has strongly unveiled his sincerely arguments toward both NCP and the SPLM for shying away from discussing post-referendum issues for the people of South to understand its implications. Due to his relevant stands on important issues, I understand very well that only Dr. Lam Akol will take serious discussions, if elected GoSS president, to President Al-Bashir or whoever won April national presidential election and discussing all the implications of CPA ranging from south-north borders demarcations all away through south-south borders demarcations. This wills standstill perpetual feuds between south states and inter-sectional feuds among south tribes instigated by land snatching and properties garnishing. Dr. Lam Akol would sufficiently educate the people of south to know their rights when it comes to self-determination issue. Unlike President Salva Kir and his current GoSS administration has barely done nothing to educate the people of south, but fooling us to vote for Hon. Yasir Arman for national presidential ticket that will jeopardy our rights to Self-determination to secede as gate way for us to secede after 2011 referendum.
Finally, we, the people of south are not foolish enough to derail our golden chances by voting for the same old status quo that corrupted our semi-autonomous government. It’s worth mentioning that, the people of South will instead votes in office fresh leadership that will heal south from imminent extinction. Dr. Lam Akol is only one candidate in this race who promised to taking care our martyrs’ families and wounded heroes whom GoSS under slacking leadership of SPLM has omitted. When Dr. Lam Akol gets elected and sworn in GoSS president, he will form unity government comprised of all south political parties and equal representations from all walks of life in south will be inevitable.
Dr. Lam Akol vowed to establish peace and stability to end perpetual ongoing tribal conflicts in south and pledged to pay SPLA arms their full share of salaries regularly. In fact, the majority of experienced SPLA fighters hailed from bush shrunk away from serving in SPLA to taking cares for their families because the administration of President Salva Kir has not paid them yet their full shares of salaries regularly “as pay as you go method” to feed their children. Meanwhile, their colleagues whom are serving as officials with GoSS have taken their children abroad to get healthy diets and substantial educations.
Lastly, our votes are opting for choosing competent leader who can get the job done when sworn in after election. Diverting next beautiful five years into gloomiest last five years would be grave mistaken. The people of south Sudan will test their tougher choices in first time ever to choose our president who will only work to serve our vital interests and needs for ourselves, our children and generations to come. Hence, our votes are smarter, sharper, and healthier than corruption, nepotism, schism and favoritism. Tribalism doomed to end and United South Sudan Nation moving forward.

The fifth anniversary of the signing of the Comprehensive Peace Accord (CPA) that ended the tiring war in our country has come and gone so quietly without any notice. One major reason---because the politicians are busy with the coming elections. In addition, they have a legitimate reason to do so. It is hoped that the coming election will determined the sustainability of the CPA. This hope cannot only be the hope of the International Community it must also be our hope. We as Southern Sudanese must strive to bring lasting peace to our country. This is why we must invest our voting power wisely during this election. This is why I have resolved to invest my time to bring to you my fellow Southern Sudanese what I would rather consider pep talk throughout the coming weeks and months. In a series of short articles, I hope to encourage us all to vote very wisely during this election.
We must not allow our emotions, greed and short-term benefits to override our intellect as we vote during the coming election. Let us leave that for our politicians who do it best. Each and every Sudanese should understand that we owed it not only to ourselves, but also to the future of our children when we vote this coming election.
It is our responsibility as Southern Sudanese to understand that the coming election is not only about our future, it also about the future of our children. It is about eradicating poverty and building a lasting peace for ourselves. It is about educating our young generation so as to ensure a good and informed leadership in the future. This coming election is about good governance and democracy in Southern Sudan.
In one of the few papers I posted in the past, I mentioned the need for our leaders to recognize that democracy is only feasible in a transparent and accountable society. I urge our leaders to not just talk about democratic change but to understand that it is imperative that they exemplify the change through their leadership. I also cautioned against making decisions that will affect the masses of the people behind close door. Our leaders must adopt the culture of inclusiveness in decision-making if the people matter to them.
Democracy I stated previously is about people and most importantly about the people that are being governed. It is our rights as Sudanese to know at all, times what our leadership is doing to improve our well-being and secure the future for our children. As you vote in this coming election, seek to cast your vote for a leader that understands and practice these changes.

South Sudan soldiers might be suffering from PTSD
What is post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) is a disorder that can develop following a traumatic event that threatens your safety or makes you feel helpless. Most people associate PTSD with battle-scarred soldiers – and military combat is the most common cause in men – but any overwhelming life experience can trigger PTSD, especially if the event is perceive as unpredictable and uncontrollable. Events that can lead to (PTSD) are War Rap Natural disaster a car or plane crash Kidnapping Violent assault Sexual or physical abuse Medical procedures (especially in kids) these are things that ever Sudanese have been affected by one way or the other.
Many lives lost at the hands of SPLA offices. Including one of our SPLM-DC personal assistant chairpersons of Western Bahr-el-Gazal, was murder by the SPLA offices. A police offices or military personal, job is to enforcement the law and crime prevention and authorized to maintain the peace, safety, and order of the community. Military function could be as a reserve army they are not part of the regular armed forces in an emergency they could called upon. Military are also, use in combat peacekeeping and wars. Not to murder citizens that should have their constitution right guaranteeing them the basic personal and political rights. Belonging to a different party is defiantly not an offense. This foolishness needs to stop; what if more then millions of people have the same believes? What SPLA will kill all those people too this is foolishness. This is 2009 we are not living in Stone Age’s people have discovered how to marked fire already come on people why are we acting so primitive? The Lack of constitution and democracy, which is the system of law and convention by which a state country govern it people is contributing to all this garbage.
Murder in South Sudan is getting ridiculous. Killing by Goss officer has become so common in South Sudan then previous times. Sudanese’s have implemented the Peace agreement few years now. Why are we killing ourselves?
The possibility of person’s death benign from natural cause in South Sudan is slim but the likelihood of death at the hands of officer, which is apparently upholding the law as well as serenity, is very high. Most likely, this kind of ridiculous crimes will not stop any time soon, if programs are not in place to address the needs of today’s military.
It would be reasonable to say that living or working in south Sudan is dangerous, now. A person has to be careful with some of the SLPM solider because they are like explosive if you step on one of them, they might explode as you might breathe your last breath. After all these years of war, it is time to face the problem; we need the election to take place in order for our people to get the help they deserve, it can not be normal for all this kind of murder to take place, ever the murderer is affect by his own crime. Some from of mantel illness, trauma, and anxiety has to justifiers these acted. We really need help to be able to determining the solution to this dilemma that we found ourselves in. we could not have forecast, that all this was going to happen, this message should allowed our people to examining their own life. Every individual is affected by this regime in one way or the other. We need to call upon change, the must be improvement made in south Sudan. If these problems are due to post-traumatic stress disorder, we really need to get help ASAP. This is just to give some understanding, to what the difficulty could be I am not putting anybody down, South Sudanese are very grateful for the many years of fighting for democracy .We need to get our fighters some help. we are all experiencing ,some from of stress but it is they way a person makes their decision to deal with the stress that matter, the decision a person take in a matter they are likely to live with for the rest of the life. Get help do not go out and killed or commuted more crime, it would just add more to what the existing problems might already be.
Thank you

To all South Sudanese, lets not make the same mistake agene doing the same thing repeatedly accepted a different outcome; it would be consider stupidity by elected Kiir in to power the rest of the world will in fact express amusement at South Sudan. It has bean over 20yrs that South Sudanese have never had the opportunity to be able to vote or determine who will represent us, now that we have the chance to tune this around lets not miss this possibility. South Sudanese have lost so many years out of Sudan by brine force out of our country because of war, the longest lasted war; we have more refuge around the world then most country. Is that the live that we want for ourselves. Not being able to vote not being able to go home when we want, South Sudan have so many resources that we doing not actually needs much from the outside world nevertheless because, of the way we govern ourselves we relay on others for our daily bard. Food that is send for displace people are use for seal by the authority. With all the money that South Sudan has received why, are people stale killing each other, why are people vanishing from food shortage? Why is the no justice system in our country, we cannot even hold anyone accountable in their position, why because no law and order in the country. Is this the kind of regime? that South Sudan, want to lived under then go ahead vote Kiir into power when it is time for election, just remember that Kiir was not really the people primary choice. Because Kier was one of the few left after the movement, Kiir is now appointed to represent South Sudan. If you need change please lets us worked together, and make it happen by Vote Mr.Lam Akol because he is the only one that has talk about democratic government bases on the principles of social equality, which means that all South Sudanese’s will be a part of the development process. A democratic system will in could all Sudanese its power given back to the citizens. Under this system everyone will be heal responsible to do his or her parted. If we all invest ourtime in the developmental process I cannot imagine South Sudan being swift in destroying the country, if we do it may affect all of our participation. Does South Sudan want that to happened agene? I think that I could speak for most of South Sudan and acutely say that this standard of living is ridiculous let us make some form of change happen ASAP, because the definition of stupidity is a poor ability to understand or to profit from experience. Vote Mr.Lam Akol for change. Thank you, SPLM-DC Party Representative of Wisconsin Mr. Martin Modal
At this point, we should be more force on the up coming election. The term election means a decision making process by which a population chooses an individual to hold formal office.
This is the usual mechanism, by which modern representative democracy fills offices in the legislature, sometimes in the executive and judiciary and for regional and government.
Holding off on election would cause more misery to the ordinary citizens of south Sudan, their misery expected to double if this election does not take place in 2010. In these cases, always the poor are greatly effect. It is our obligation to make the necessary changes in south Sudan. SPLM/DC party, is benign more persuasive than any other party at this moment. We have been through the worst what would it take to give SPLM/DC the opportunity to prove themselves. Let us not predicated what the SPLM/DC would or would not do. In the 2010 election SPLM/DC will not force on the circumstances, the force will be justice democratic and equality, which are their principle. If we Sudanese’s were so good at predication, we would have been able to see things before it happen, example murder, dishonesty poverty furthermore. It is time for change lets make it happen.
GOSS is lacking democracy and Constitution. South Sudan is lacking constitution, which is the system of law and convention by which a state or country govern itself, the basic of a country. South Sudan, do we have any of this going on in our country right now? My next point is about democracy. A form of government, where a constitution guarantees basic personal and political rights, fair and free elections, and independent court of law. In order to deserve the label of modem democracy, a country needs to fulfill some basic requirements and the need not only be written, down in it’s constitution but must be kept up in everyday life of politicians and authorities. A part of social equality which most of our citizen are lacking in south Sudan. Democracy was one of the SPLA/M slogans for many years, which they are failing to recognize now. Martin Modal, USA
There is no surprise at all for new Accusations about having a militia in Upper Nile State. But the fact is, if SPLM-DC have militia where do they come from? Who is the leader of the militia? If SPLM-DC have a militia, why the supporter of SPLM-DC has been torture in to death by SPLA in Upper Nile State? All the area in South has been occupied by SPLA this is an illegitimate statement.
I`m not blame SPLA for their involvement in to political game, because SPLM party has NO power to persuade Southerner not to Support SPLM-DC in political ways instead of using force from SPLA. And you the SPLA you are not a SPLM party Army, you are belong to Government of South Sudan Army NO matter who lead the Government. Therefore, if you are going to make false stereotyping against SPLM-DC party; we already know your position and also we tolerate your torture. Meanwhile, we are not going to surprise for your involvement in tom political game because if the blind lead blind they all fall in to the hold, this is what blind SPLM doing .Make sure our country situation will deteriorating if you will not stop all threats to SPLM-DC members. Frankly speaking, SPLM-DC will work freely in South and Sudan in general .SPLM-DC will rescue our Government from collapse, SPLM-DC will give the freedom to all the citizen of country, SPLM-DC will protect the civilian. SPLM-DC is our future party that will lead our country through democratic way.

Southern tribes have been living side by side peacefully and even marry each other before and after the Sudan independence.
But since 2005, our people expereince growing of tribalism and deadly engagements between former peaceful nieghboring tribes.
In Jongli state, almost more than 1000 Southerners were killed by their own fellows since the begining of this year without counting those killed in the previous years.
In Juba, we come to know Mundari and Bari become enemies and waged deadly war against each other.
In Upper Nile, most of the peaceful parts of South, Anakdar and Abanimo villages were burned to ashes and many villagers were mercilessly slaughtered on Jan 10,09.
Last week in Upper Nile again, innocent people were killed again by their own fellows.
We all as Southerners and Sudanese need to find solution to bring an end to the bloody life facing our civilians in South rather than blaming SPLM-DC without military, constitutional and judicial powers.
How could it be possible for young party still recruiting its members to carry out an attack in South where it has no present on the ground?
Who are then to be blame for all bloody incidents mentioned above that happened before the establishment of the SPLM-DC?
SPLM as ruling party is responsible for judicial, legislative and constitutional institutions in South. Therefore, its accusation must be conducted through those governmental offices based on legal findings and bring the assassins to justice to convict them against their crimes. After conviction, the identities of criminal and their political, religious and social associations will be uncovered to the public if they are find guilty.
Now SPLM accused SPLM-DC for recently Upper Nile killing of innocent people which is related to tribalism created since 2005.SPLM-DC was founded to unite the Southerners and Sudanese not to encurage the wrong policy of SPLM/GOSS and it is not involve in ongoing tribalism in the South. Therefore, SPLM-DC must hold SPLM accountable before law to prove its allegation to the public or vindicate SPLM-DC publicly from false its accusation.
I would like to profoundly congratulate SPLM-DC leadership and dedicated members for NDC success.
Certainly, it will go down in history of our beloved country( Sudan) and South in particular that there are people who can do work in the country & diaspora.
We have manpower in all areas and hopefully we will succede in the future but possible only when we have a good system in place and only when we get the opportunity to put the right man in the right place. This will require collective hard work on our part and without doubt,we will be able to achieve our goals of development in the country.
Hello,am apply for the above mention.as to comment on my CV was there long time a go.thanks.
your faithful brother.
SPLM_DC are lies they never say yes I think they are a part of NCP who always denied killing people in Abye SPLM.DC is only belong to Shilluk tribe other tribe should pull out from that so call DC the attack in Malakal was from them but Lam denied that he will never eccept what he done
I wanted to join the party. how will I do that?

Thank You

Thank you,

Election the force for 2010
At this point, we should be more force on the up coming election.

William Okuch.
Dear Sir,
I would like to profoundly congratulate SPLM-DC leadership and dedicated members for NDC success.
